A weekend in San Fran

I know I’ve been MIA for the past few weeks… Moving to a new city/country turned out to be more time consuming than I anticipated. It does, however, involve a fair bit of shopping :) nothing too exciting though, household items such as cutlery , vacuum cleaner, furniture, etc. Haven’t had a chance to do any clothes shopping yet, still waiting for my first paycheck :( Well, I did cheat a little and bought a new pair of Ferragamo shoes, but that was totally justified as a graduation & new job present for myself. Right? :)

Life in SF so far has been great; every day I’m happier with the decision to move here. I fell in love with this city first time I visited back in 2007, and I’ve been secretly dreaming about it ever since.  I’m finally here and it still feels like I’m dreaming! I miss my family and friends back in TO though, especially my partner in shopping crime – my sis. Planning to visit Toronto in late spring & looking forward to that!

This morning I went to the White Elephant Sale – one of the biggest antique fairs around here. I’m not really a vintage queen, but I did make my first record purchase in San Fran – the Love Story soundtrack. I loved the book and the movie, and the main theme is on my fave tunes list.
