My New Fluevog Oxford Shoes

There hasn’t been a menswear style that I wasn’t happy to adopt. From boyfriend blazers and vests, to jeans, watches and grandpa sweaters, I’ve got ‘em all. It was just a matter of time before I jumped on the Oxfords (brogues, wingtips…) bandwagon.

I bought my Oxfords from John Fluevog on Queen West.
(style: Connoisseurs Medici, Tan & Beige. Yup, men’s!)

I can tell you I got a lot of stares while wearing these yesterday.
One girl said she liked them, so I’ll just hope that’s what others were thinking as well :)

They definitely fall into my brave purchases category. I’m still trying to figure out other ways to wear them except with skinny jeans. Skirt is a def no-no, not digging Emma Watson’s look above.

Rock the Runway at the ROM

Last night’s Rock the Runway fashion show organized by UofT’s Woodsworth College was held at the Royal Ontario Museum. For the past three years, Rock the Runway has been raising both money and awareness for War Child Canada.

The End of My Fashion Diet

Today is the last day of my “no jeans for a month” fashion diet!

These photos were taken today at noon at the Yonge-Eglinton square.

I was tempted to throw on a pair of jeans when I had to run to a grocery store, or pick up the mail. I’m glad I took this challenge though, it made me realize I had a lot of “lazy” outfits, especially for school. I’d like to think that my personal style has evolved one step forward, with this diet and inspirations from my Street Style.
